Pricing FAQ

What counts as an entity?

A legal entity with its own books. If you run Holdings Ltd and OpCo GmbH on separate ledgers, that is two entities. Users, customers, vendors, and products do not count.

Do you charge per user?

No. Cloud and Enterprise are flat-rate, unlimited users. Starter caps at 5 to keep pricing low for small teams.

Can I self-host the Community edition commercially?

Yes. AGPLv3 lets you run Billin internally for commercial use. If you offer it as a service to third parties, contact us for a commercial license.

What happens after the trial?

Your data sticks around. You can export a full backup, continue on a paid plan, or switch to self-hosted. We never hold your data hostage.

Is there a non-profit or education discount?

Yes. 501(c)(3) nonprofits, public-benefit orgs, and accredited schools get 50% off Cloud. Email nonprofit@billin.io.

Do you offer a GOV / FedRAMP tenant?

On Enterprise. We run isolated tenants in AWS GovCloud and Azure Government with FIPS-validated crypto and US-citizen operators.
